Hi all I'm a new owner. I wonder what's the best way to book regular holiday inn hotel through HICV? I need to flight out for a wedding and wants to book a regular hotel. I remember we have member discount and free upgrade, but can't find how to do it on HICV website. Thanks.

Hi Scott,, I seen some discussion threads earlier talking about how to return a property back to HICV.
Hi Scott,, I seen some discussion threads earlier talking about how to return a property back to HICV. Do you know what the contact phone number or email was to inquire about that process? Are they still accepting back properties that are fully paid off including all maintenance fees. I have an even week with 133,000 points that is week 42 at East Billage in Orlando that I’m looking to give up ownership. Thanks, Ted H.

I recently helped my dad setup his HICV account - here's the process:
After the unit is gone from the previous owner's account, have the new owner call HICV Deeding at 407-239-5170 and given them the previous owner's contract number - they will verify identity and give you the new owner's HICV ID, which you can enter online to setup a new account. When he first tried the online setup, it wasn't working, but a couple of days later it worked. I'd estimate 1-2 weeks from transferring out of the old account to being able to make online account - not sure how quickly you can call HICV and get the new owner account number, but if you start checking regularly in these timeframes, you should be able to get it setup before you get HICV letter in the mail.

My wife and I own units in Florida and Virginia.
My wife and I own units in Florida and Virginia. I noticed that some of the deeds are owned jointly as JTWROS and others are owned as Joint Tenants in common. I would like to change the deeds on those units so that all units are JTWROS. I would also like to include my adult children on at least one of the deeds. What is the simplest way to do this?

What is the best way to guarantee that our kids inherit our club status?
What is the best way to guarantee that our kids inherit our club status? Eg, we are Premier owners, but if we just leave our weeks to them, they would not get the points or perks. The disclosure guide explicitly says you can transfer your membership (not just weeks to family members, but if you are still using the club (and expect to for another 20 years or so) and if you have 4 adult children, how do you set it up so that they can get the free upgrades etc when we are finished using it? Anyone ever had an issue where your account is suspended for maintenance not paid on a newly transferred unit that...
Anyone ever had an issue where your account is suspended for maintenance not paid on a newly transferred unit that they have not generated a statement for? I called in to get details on a suspended account and told them I would pay maintenance as soon as they could provide a copy of the maintenance statement and they said it would take up to 2 weeks and that my account would be suspended until I paid. Any way around this other than paying whatever they say I owe before I see a statement?
