Hi all I'm a new owner. I wonder what's the best way to book regular holiday inn hotel through HICV? I need to flight out for a wedding and wants to book a regular hotel. I remember we have member discount and free upgrade, but can't find how to do it on HICV website. Thanks.

Through our Club Partner program, all exchanges to IHG® Rewards Club points and redemptions for IHG® Rewards Club hotels, merchandise, etc. must be completed by October 1 of the current calendar year.
After October 1, you may redeem Points already exchanged into your IHG® Rewards Club account directly through IHG® Rewards Club. Visit ihgrewardsclub.com/redeemonline for a full list of redemption opportunities.

The only way I am aware to use your HICV points for regular Holiday Inn hotels is to exchange the points into IHG rewards points for a fee. Every 100k HICV points becomes 80k IHG points at a cost of $69 + $5 for every additional 5k points converted to 4k IHG. In general, that exchange is not a great value, it's something that should only be done if you can't use up your HICV points before they are going to expire.
