I have been reading posts on Silverleaf forums about Silverleaf owners converting to HICV.

I have been reading posts on Silverleaf forums about Silverleaf owners converting to HICV. The info seems a bit inconsistent. Does anyone have credible information on what current Silverleaf owners are required to do to convert to HICV? Do they have to make HICV purchase? Is it the same for all Silverleaf properties?

If an HICV owner with Elite status purchased additional point-only units on the resale market and then divested himself of the units he bought retail from Orange Lake do you supposed the Elite status would be maintained as long as he had sufficient points left?

I don't think I've ever heard this happening before with HICV, but I had an offer accepted by a seller to purchase points at South Beach for a great price.  I'm two weeks into the closing process and I just heard back from the broker that HICV has exercised their ROFR.  Has anyone else had that happen to them?  I've heard of Disney and others propping up their selling prices, but this might be new territory for HICV.

If Elite status was a paid upgrade with an annual fee, what's the maximum you'd be willing to pay per year?

If Elite status was a paid upgrade with an annual fee, what's the maximum you'd be willing to pay per year? Assume you only pay 1 year at a time, but it's not refundable once you pay. Generally, this would be the value of the services you'd expect to get in a year times some discount factor - for the purposes of this poll, assume that Elite is the only status and that you no longer get it if you don't pay. Post a comment explaining your vote!

I believe the deed is for about 13 weeks together, which is probably why it has been out there a few years (this is not my listing).

I'll contribute a few rumors about Cape Canaveral that I picked up at the last owner's meeting.

I'll contribute a few rumors about Cape Canaveral that I picked up at the last owner's meeting.  They are planning to build two Signature buildings with a private pool between the pool building and the beachfront building.   I was also told that they might at some point convert the existing top three floors of the Oceanfront building into Signature Units.
