Thanks for posting Scott. I compared it side by side also and did notice a couple of other minor changes:
They dropped free wifi reference in regular member benefit (pg 42) (Fox River Resort, Timber Creek, Ozark Mountain, Hill Country, Galveston Seaside, don’t list it as available in their resort amenities)
Added amount of rental benefit to the list by member level (pg 42-46)
Minor changes in Resort Amenities – noticed Fox River no longer lists a fitness center with sauna, the picnic tables are no longer covered but they added an Indoor Water Park and the Marketplace that was ‘coming in 2017’ is now ‘coming in 2018’. Holiday Hills no longer has a restaurant or market place but they added a fitness center. Desert Club no longer lists the grilling stations as ‘complimentary’. There are probably other differences, so just make sure to look in the new book before assuming they haven't changed.
Noticed South Beach Signature added a category for 3-Bedroom (only had 3-Bedroom LO before)
Noticed a couple resorts renamed their seasons, but didn’t change their points - Galveston Beach now calls their Gold season a Silver season and their silver season a Bronze season. Williamsburg changed Silver to Bronze.
There are other minor changes (the Glossary no longer lists Viewpoints Online magazine - Oh no!), but I wasn't about to compare all the fine print in the member reward program...
Scott Hansen Wow thanks for the detailed analysis. I made the additions/changes you noticed to the point chart - let me know if you find any other changes.
I also see that they posted the 2018 member guide under a heading for 2017 member guide, and they're advertising that the "2017 Member Guide Now Available" on the home page.....seems like shoddy website management.
