What is the best way to guarantee that our kids inherit our club status?
What is the best way to guarantee that our kids inherit our club status? Eg, we are Premier owners, but if we just leave our weeks to them, they would not get the points or perks. The disclosure guide explicitly says you can transfer your membership (not just weeks to family members, but if you are still using the club (and expect to for another 20 years or so) and if you have 4 adult children, how do you set it up so that they can get the free upgrades etc when we are finished using it? Thank you!

Bill J all points? Not really sure how they handle existing accounts, but once I added my wife to one deed on my account, any new units in her name showed up in my account, which means my account has units in my name only, her name only, and both of our names.
ReplyDeleteScott Kotrla We have weeks and points. OL messed up and created a new account for one of our deeds so we now have two accounts. They are supposed to be fixing it but it's been a few months. We have also been added to an existing account. Once we send new deeds with current owners removed I wonder if it will automatically roll into our existing account.
ReplyDeleteBill J weeks accounts are always separate... if you are on 2 points accounts, my guess is you could ask them to merge them - I don't believe they will do it automatically, but I've never been in that situation
