    I checked on this property. The MF are in excess of $10k. That would mean $6.02/1k points. Too high!

    I think that's pretty consistent for all lake geneva units...If you want this kind of points, it's not a bad price - $6/1k is my limit...I would not recommend buying and converting - if you want elite, you should definitely target closer to $4/1k

    Points you bring in from the open market do not count for Elite status. You would have 1.6 million points with no benefits and would be paying over $10K per year in maintenance.
