Scott I am considering a timeshare/vacation club purchase but the info available online is overwhelming. I really just have a few simple questions about what to consider. Can you point me to a discussion or resource that can help? My situation is that we went to a Holiday Inn Vacation Club timeshare presentation and decided its a good way to vacation for us. We were offered 45k points annually plus a onetime bonus of $45k points for $7200, $321 annual maintenance fee and $126 annual membership fee. We agreed to this but then rescinded the deal as I became aware of the resale market and figured that would make more financial sense. We bid on $187k annual points but maintenance fees are $1100 through sell my timeshare.com. They had it listed for $8k and I offered $5k, really to see what would happen more than anything else. Are you familiar with Sellmytimeshare.com? Are they reputable? Can you recommend another resource to find points deals?
