  1. I just returned from the Desert Club. During my "owners update" we were informed of HICV's acquisition of a Tahoe resort. The sales person didn't even know where it was.

    Walley's Resort is in a nice area, but the resort is half an hours drive from Tahoe. I

    If/when anyone visits during the summer, stop by Grover Hot Springs State Park in CA to join the morning nature walk and learn about the area, the flowers and the trees. Markleeville itself is an excellent - if quiet- destination.
