Hello Scott, I am possibly interested in purchasing some of your points. Just went thru the pitch at hicv orange lake. Amazing how they try to get you to drop large amounts of cash but keep the information as to how everything works so obfuscated. I have a very specific strategy that I am wanting to implement and if it will work, I am very interested. When can we chat?

    Hi scott, good info on your group. The main thing I am going for is to have 100-150k points with fairly low MF in order to book <30 days out during low season in orlando. The sales rep indicated that it is possible to book a 3 bedroom for 18-21k points at orange lake if you do it less than 30 days out. he had indicated that the slow season always has units available. We are very flexible in our travel and usually go in non peak times. Id basically be looking at getting 5 off peak weeks for 100k points purchased for the south beach or lake geneva HICV. Does this sound accurate? Is there any way you could allow me to login to the HCIV system to look at how it works or do a screen share so I can get an understanding of how it functions.

    I've never seen anything that cheap. Silver season is WK1-4,18-19,35-39,48-50, so we won't be able to test out 30-day deals there until late Spring. Gold season is WK5-6,20-24,34,40-47. 3BR WK6 standard price is 177K points for the full week - no specials come up. There is a 2BR special for up to 4 nights that is almost half off (55K instead of 93.1K, max nights 4, 2/3-2/15).

    I don't see you getting 2 full weeks in a 3BR for 100K points, much less 5.
